Michael Koester is working for Microsoft Corp. as the Designer Marketing Manager for Middle East and Africa and Central and Eastern Europe. Prior to working in Microsoft, he has been working as illustrator and graphic and interactive designer for various interactive agencies and new media companies in Germany and the US.

While filling a number of technical and non-technical roles in his 7 years in Microsoft, he has remained at heart a creative guy – this is why he jumped at the chance of bringing Microsoft’s new professional graphics tools and technologies – Expression and Silverlight – to the interactive/designer audience across the area.
